‘Phrase Match’ feature in Adwords is the primary step in driving the users to your ad. This limits your ad to those searches that include your search phrases in order. To activate the ‘Phrase Match’ feature, simply enclose your search terms in quotation marks, for example, “Online Games”. Now, only those terms that includes both Online and Games in that order will be shown your ad, such as: free Online Games, Online Games for kids, etc.

To enable negative keywords you simply place a minus sign in front of your search term. If we need to eliminate all searches for ‘paid online games’ and ‘online games price’, our keyword list would include the following entriessuch as ‘paid’ and‘price’.
